Founded in February 2025, the Zifumane Foundation is dedicated to empowering the youth of South Africa at every stage of their development. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support and opportunities for growth, from early childhood through the tween and teenage years, and into young adulthood.
Our journey began with a vision to create a nurturing environment for young minds to flourish. We are thrilled to announce that our first early childhood development program is already in progress, with six schools being constructed on farms in the Kuilsriver and Stellenbosch areas. These schools will serve as safe havens where children can receive quality education, fostering their intellectual and emotional growth.
Looking ahead, the Zifumane Foundation is committed to expanding its impact through various initiatives. We are excited to introduce youth camps designed to build confidence, resilience, and camaraderie among participants. Additionally, we are in the process of establishing our own youth camp facility, a place where young individuals can come together to learn, grow, and form lifelong friendships.
Our vision extends to young adulthood, as we plan to launch a gap year program that equips participants with essential life and leadership skills. This program will empower young adults to navigate the challenges of adulthood with confidence and purpose, preparing them to make meaningful contributions to their communities and beyond.
